Part of the Master Plan for 9 million square feet of Centennial Campus is to provide 3 million square feet of housing to create a true work, learn, live, and play campus. Three projects embody the current housing available on campus:
- North Shore: 33 existing units available for purchase. Additional units are in the planning stage along with amenities for the tenants.
- The Greens: The first phase of this luxury apartment community opened in February 2014 offering studios, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments along with outdoor amenities. When Phase II is completed there will be a total of 292 apartments available to employees, faculty and the greater Raleigh community.
- Wolf Ridge Apartments: This facility broke ground in the Summer of 2012 and is the first student housing option available on Centennial Campus. Within the 1195 beds available, there will be graduate studios, two bedroom, and four bedroom apartments. The first three buildings opened in Fall 2013 with the final three buildings available Fall 2014.
Nestled just off Lake Raleigh is a 9-hole disc golf course. Completed in 2010, this challenging, rustic course is available free of charge for NC State students, faculty and staff.
