Parking on Campus
Visitors to Centennial Campus will find ample parking in our various parking decks and visitor lots throughout campus. Visit the NCSU Transportation website for more information. If you have an electrical vehicle (EV), there are ten charging stations available throughout campus to re-charge your EV prior to your departure.
While here, take some time to play a round of golf at our Arnold Palmer designed Lonnie Poole Golf Course. You will also want to visit the new Carol Johnson Poole Club House which opened in January 2014. The 25,000 square foot, two-story clubhouse will serve as a full service golf facility and also features a restaurant and bar along with a fully stocked pro shop.
Need something to eat? Choose from a variety of venues including multiple convenience stores, Port City Javas, daily food trucks, On the Oval, and the newest option, the Terrace Dining Room located in the Carol Johnson Poole Clubhouse.
Coming to campus for business? Take advantage of our network of conference rooms and spaces throughout campus to meet and collaborate. Our goal is to continue the partnerships throughout campus to create a sustainable place to work, learn, live, and play.
Part of the Master Plan for 9 million square feet of Centennial Campus is to provide 3 million square feet of housing to create a true work, learn, live, and play campus. Three projects embody the current housing available on campus:
- North Shore: 33 existing units available for purchase. Construction has begun on additional units along with amenities for the tenants.
- The Greens: This luxury apartment community opened in February 2014 offering studios, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments along with outdoor amenities. There is a total of 292 apartments available to employees, faculty and the greater Raleigh community.
- Wolf Ridge Apartments: This facility opened in Fall of 2014 and is the first student housing option available on Centennial Campus. Within the 1195 beds available, there are graduate studios, two bedroom, and four bedroom apartments.
- The StateView Hotel and Conference Center: Scheduled to begin construction in the Fall of 2015 and open in early 2017 the StateView will operate under the Marriott Autograph Collection franchise.
Nestled just off Lake Raleigh is a 9-hole disc golf course. Completed in 2010, this challenging, rustic course is available free of charge for NC State students, faculty and staff.
